It has a certain beauty though, it seems so pure. And it has a clarity, if only everything could be seen or understood with such clearness. But everything has an opposite, and that opposite of the beauty is vexation.
Ice can be sinister, just like everything else in this world.
Your images are very strong indivually, and make a grand, big beautiful impression altogether. The ice--how it encases and sometimes escapes (or is released from) what it touches, seems to metaphor your point about the purity and clearness having an opposite partner. I love this song....
